HOUSE LEAGUE PROGRAM

New Horizon Basketball is offering a new House League program in the Markham and Brooklin area. Through the direction of experienced certified coaches we want to help players between the ages (5-14 years old) develop their overall skill level through game play.

The NHB House League Programs are co-ed and the players are grouped according to their age and skill level, learning the fundamental skills and principles of the game. Playing time is regulated through the OBA sanctioned “Fair Play Policy” so that every participant is guaranteed equal playing time.

Coaches are committed to developing individual skills, introducing concepts of team play, life skills and improving the over-all fitness levels of the players. House League exposes players to a competitive, but friendly environment, while also offering opportunities to train and excel to a higher level.  

Through our House League programs the coaches will scout and identify players to participate in the REP Program.

Information/Rules:

• 80% Game Play

• 20% Skill Development/Team Concepts

• Games will be played in a 4 on 4 format

• F.I.B.A rules will be enforced

• Parents may help out and volunteer

Players will receive:

• Reversible Jersey

• Experienced and certified coaches

• Award
